Malus Evereste is a conical apple tree with delightful spring blossom. Also known as crab apple ‘Evereste’. The flowers are red in bud but open white. In autumn it bears masses of red-flushed, orange-yellow fruits, which hang on through the winter
This stunning small tree forms a small, regular and compact crown. It grows best in moderately fertile moist but well-drained soil. Full sun is preferred, although partial shade is tolerated. This variety is one of the most disease resistant crab apples, and will also tolerate pollution.
