Description
Elaeagnus ebbingei has a newly updated name Elaeagnus x submacrophylla. It is a pretty small evergreen tree that is highly regarded for its sweet fragrance and tiny bell-shaped white flowers from October to November. It also bears small orange berries in the winter. The leaves are grey / green in colour with brownish scales and silvery undersides
With its upright, compact, and dense growth, this Oleaster makes a good boundary plant in a small garden. It is particularly valuable in coastal locations, as it is salt tolerant.
